A good video

At a point in my life, not too long ago, I had greater respect for Huckabee than I did for Stewart. While I realize this is only ONE issue, the things said regarding this ONE issue is enough for me to think twice about who I respect over another. Hearing these things from him now, I never would have voted for him during the primaries.

I have a longer post coming, I promise, but this week has just been hellish and once I get everything accomplished and get a free moment, I'll update the few that read this. Just thought I would provide some entertainment for now. ;)

Hey, it's better than elevator music!

  1. "Anatomically ... the only way we can create the next generation is through a male/female relationship."

(I had to pause him after he said that and comment. I know I haven't listened to the rest of it yet but still.)

You know that statement would make some sort of sense if everyone in the world was a RESPONSIBLE adult and didn't just go out and make babies that aren't wanted. That's why adoption is NECESSARY in the world today. And I'm all for a child being adopted by two loving parents. Who cares what the sexes of the parents are? Really, it's not like homosexuality is contagious! :-) "Oh, don't touch me, I might get it!" HAHAHA!!!

Ugh, I could write a whole blog of my own on this... it irritates me when people don't look at BOTH sides of an issue.

  2. Ahhh, so I watched the rest now...

    I <3 Jon Stewart! :-)

"At what age did you choose to not be gay?"

The PURPOSE of a marriage is to create the next generation??? WTF? Is he serious? So what about the couples who don't have children? Are they not really "married" since they aren't creating the next generation?

This whole topic just irritates me. It shouldn't even be a topic. People are people are people are people. And there are basic rights that ALL people should have. It really shouldn't be this difficult to figure out.
